Connecticut Food Bank's Walk Against Hunger
Dear Team Member,
Once again, on Sunday, April 27th we are participating in the Walk Against Hunger to benefit Connecticut Food Bank at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. My goal is to raise ($4,000) to help alleviate hunger in Connecticut. Did you know that one in 7 households in Connecticut is struggling to keep food on the table?
Your donation will help feed families who are served by approximately 600 food-assistance programs served by Connecticut Food Bank.
For every $10 donated, Connecticut Food Bank can distribute $50 worth of food at wholesale value. And in addition, 95 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to program services.
Donate online by using a credit card, or you can mail a donation directly to Connecticut Food Bank at the address listed below. Please send a note indicating our team's name (Brooklawn Servanthood, Salt and Light) so we receive credit.
Solicit funds from your friends, coworkers and family. All monies collected should be turned in to the Team Captain.
